Happy Birthday Firehouse Underground
I got the opportunity to meet Mike and Sue from Firehouse Underground while on tour last September. The coffeehouse sponsored the stage we were on. They even bought two of my paintings. They are great people with servants' hearts. I have been blessed to know them.
So it was a great surprise to get a phone call from Sue to see if I would be available and willing to go to South Dakota again to paint at their anniversary party. One thing led to another and the plans got finalized. In the end, I got to paint Friday night with Byron Keith, Saturday morning I presented the Edifying the Artist seminar, that night I painted 3 pictables with Elizabeth Hunnicutt and Sunday morning I painted at FBC Sioux Falls.
The weekend proved to be be one of the most memorable experiences for me and also a milestone for the ministry. God moved me throughout the whole weekend. It started slowly and then He broke me on Sunday. Not like a small twig but like a large, seasoned oak tree, He broke me hard! It was awesome. I will be back to SD and I can't wait.

Elizabeth Hunnicutt plays during her set. Christ Face and Jesus Hug are beside her.

The infamous improv piece. The drummer put me up to it. And I still have your sticks, Guy, but they have paint on them.

The gym at FBC Sioux Falls before the service as the worship band does sound check.
As the lshadow is cast from the painting, so the memory of this painting will always be on my heart.
